Every once in a while the air filters get dirty and need to be changed. You can find air filters at many different hardware stores. If you are changing the air filter, be sure to get the same kind as the one you are replacing.
When you go to check the outdoor unit, you want to first make sure that all of the wires are intact and going where they need to be. If you don’t know what each specific wire does, just make sure they are all plugged in. After you check the wires, you will need to clean the unit to get rid of any dust or other debris.
