Facebook is a tricky animal.
It can be a great platform for exposing news. But, sometimes, fake news crops up and everyone spends a day mourning a celebrity who is still alive.
And, I cannot say everyone experiences Facebook the same way, but when those “personalized” ads were on the right sidebar, for me, they were just kind of weird. One suggested that I purchase a Zelda shirt. I had “liked” the game on my profile, and that was normal enough. The others were warring amongst themselves. Some ads pressured me to get engaged and have a baby while others were really insistent, for whatever reason, that I look into rehab.
These “blips” may tempt you to write off Facebook as an advertising tool but, if you are smart, you will realize that that is a grave mistake. Why?
