You may have heard of PTFE referred to as Teflon previously.

A great characteristic of PTFE is that it is hydrophobic, which means water and water-containing substances can get PTFE wet. It also has great wear resistance at the temperature of negative 250 degrees Fahrenheit to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Some of the most recommended uses of PTFE O Rings are chemical resistance, fuel resistance, and low coefficient of friction.

If you want to learn a lot more about PTFE O Rings and what they are used for, watch the video! Hannah has some great expert knowledge that can help you understand everything about these rings before using them. There are safety hazards that can come up if you use these rings incorrectly or if they are not well-maintained, so you must ensure you are fully knowledgeable about them before using them yourself.
